Income StatementBack to Code Lab

This application provides you with a quick and easy way to keep track of your cash flow on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Specify your incomes and your expenses to see an approximate cash flow.

Specify your incomes by simply typing the name of your work, and how much you make. Most people might have only one or two incomes, but the option to have many more is there.

You'll immediately notice that the cashflow values at the bottom of the application have changed; they are positive. A positive cashflow means you are making more than you spend. Hopefully, you are investing or saving your positive cashflow.

Specify your expenses by simply typing the name of your recurring expense, and how much it is. This is a very generalized method of listing your expenses.

Income Statement will save your entries for later retrieval. As expenses and incomes change, just type in the new value to see your approximate cashflow.

Philosophy

The idea behind this application is to help give people, with no financial background, a nudge in the right direction so they can learn to manage their finances.
